Husband suggested we grab Sunday brunch at Kitchen and Rail in Eagan, Minnesota and after a quick look online I experienced a moment of deja vu seeing that the owners were familiar faces to me! To keep it short – in one of my previous lives (aka 10 years ago) I worked as a restaurant marketer. Through that restaurant’s giveback program I had the opportunity to work with the owner’s, Victor and Joe, through the charitable organization they’re involved with, MATTER, to create and distribute MATTERboxes (packs of premade food for those in need).
Because of their involvement with MATTER, I was also completely unsurprised to see that Kitchen and Rail has a mission of giving back to community organizations and causes ❤️.

This last Saturday I was lucky enough* to be invited to the Friends & Family pre-opening of Sweet Paris, the creperie and cafe, in Woodbury, Minnesota. The official Grand Opening is this Monday, October 23, 2023!
*By “lucky enough” I mean I harrassed my brother-in-law who happens to be the Area Manager to get invited hahaha.

My excitement about the opening of Puttery Minneapolis rocketed when I learned it was a 21+ venue. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE playing mini-golf with my niece and nephews, but it would be a lie to say that I love being surrounded by kids on a date activity 😬 and I love that as adults we’re reclaiming some of the fun we had as kids like mini-golf and arcade games!
